Deep into the mighty Southern Alps riding on one of the top six train
journeys in the world. Ever changing scenery including foothills, farm land of the Canterbury plains, then views of
the wide-open braided river of Waimakariri, deep gorges, snow capped mountains and dense rain forests of the West coast. After
lunch (option) stop at Arthur´s Pass, your day will be followed by a thrilling
Jet boat ride (option). You will also visit a working sheep farm
, which is a ”must-see experience” of New Zealand, with sheep sharing demonstration, dog show and relaxing afternoon tea, farm style.
