| Standing at 3,754 metres above sea level, Aoraki/Mount Cook is situated in the heart of
World-Heritage Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. The highest peak in New Zealand
accompanied by picturesque glacier lakes of Pukaki and Tekapo, offers
wonderful photo opportunities for visitors from all over the world. On our
day tour, we drive you across the Canterbury Plains to the Mackenzie Basin
over Burks Pass to arrive at turquoise Lake Tekapo with the famous Church
of the Good Shepherd. Tour progresses to Lake Pukaki, then on your approach to
the final destination, the Village of Aoraki/Mount Cook, you may see part of our biggest
glacier, Tasman. At the Village, we enjoy lunch at the
Hermitage hotel (option), and you may experience a scenic flight of your
choice with snow landing (option).
