Hanmer Springs is one of the most popular destinations for local residents. This year-round Alpine Thermal Resort is picturesque and tranquil, and packed with adventures and attractions. If you are adventurous and thrill-seeking, you should try White water river rafting, Jet-boating, Bungy jumping or, you may enjoy Horse trekking, Mountain biking and forest walks. The main thing you should not miss is the natural hot thermal springs and pools. A long soak in the hot pools is a real tour highlight, especially for travelers needing to relax after long flights or driving. Or spoil yourself even further you should try their Therapeutic massage. After a relaxing time in the hot pools, we will visit Wai Ariki Nature farm park to meet lots of friendly farm animals. On the way back, we call into a winery in Waipara Valley to taste one of the best wines in the region.
